New certificate verification is live
Every Dev Skill certificate now has a public verification link employers can check in seconds — here is how it works.
Certificates only matter if they can be trusted, and trust needs checking to be effortless. As of this week, every certificate earned on Dev Skill carries a public verification link — anyone with the link can confirm it in seconds, no Dev Skill account required.
How it works
Each certificate now shows a verification code and a public link. An employer opening that link sees the certificate's essentials: the learner's name, the course, the issue date, and its current status. Nothing else about the learner is exposed — verification shows the minimum needed to trust the credential.
Certificates earned before this change work too: past certificates were issued verification codes retroactively. If you finished a course last year, its certificate page in your dashboard now shows the same link.
Why we built it
Because hiring should reward the learning, not the paperwork. A verifiable certificate closes the loop: you finish a course, you earn the credential, and the credential stands on its own anywhere it travels — your CV, LinkedIn, or an email to a hiring manager.
