These Affiliate Terms govern participation in the Dev Skill (the “Platform”) affiliate program, alongside the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy. The Platform approves affiliates at its discretion and issues your referral codes and links. Commissions can accrue for any approved affiliate record, but using the affiliate dashboard and receiving payouts requires a linked Platform account — an external affiliate's commissions accumulate until the record is linked to an account.

When someone clicks your referral link, the visit is attributed to you for a 30-day window counted from the first click. If the same visitor clicks several affiliates' links, the first affiliate earns — later clicks change nothing while a window is live. If a purchase is made within the window, it is attributed to you and earns a commission; purchases after the window expires are not.

The window length is a Platform setting — currently 30 days — and may be changed by the Platform; your dashboard always reflects the window in force.

For each attributed purchase you earn a commission: your rate — shown in your dashboard, currently 10% by default — applied to the net amount the buyer actually paid for the attributed items, after coupon discounts and Credit Wallet credit.

Commissions are paid out of the Platform's own share. Referrals never change the buyer's price, and never reduce what the instructor earns.

New commissions start locked, because purchases can be refunded. After the refund window — 72 hours from payment — expires without a refund, locked commissions automatically become withdrawable. If the purchase is refunded, the commission for the refunded item is reversed.

When a purchase attributed to your referral link completes, you also receive a referral reward as Dev Skill Credit Wallet credit — currently ৳500 per qualifying purchase. The reward amount is a Platform setting and may change. Self-referrals earn neither commission nor reward.

Affiliate commissions are withdrawn through the same process as instructor earnings: request from your dashboard, a ৳5,000 minimum, Platform review, and payment by bank transfer to the payout method registered on your linked account.

The following are not allowed and void any commissions they generate:

• referring yourself — purchasing through your own links, directly or through accounts you control, earns nothing
• misleading advertising: false claims about courses, prices, or the Platform, or impersonating the Platform or its brand
• spam of any kind — mass messaging, comment flooding, or posting your link where it is not welcome
• manipulating attribution: generating false clicks, cookie stuffing, or using tooling to fake or redirect visits
• concealing your affiliate relationship where the law or the platform you post on requires it to be disclosed

The Platform may suspend or revoke your affiliate status for violations of these terms. Revocation stops new commissions from accruing on your referrals. Amounts that were already withdrawable on a linked account remain payable under section 6; commissions generated by prohibited practices are forfeited.

You act as an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of the Platform. You are responsible for your own taxes and for complying with the advertising and disclosure rules that apply where you promote the Platform.

We may revise these terms. Revisions are published as new numbered versions with their effective dates, listed on this page. The version in force when an attributed purchase is made governs that purchase's commission.
